Edwin Jagger DE89bl

Edwin Jagger DE89bl Review
This Edwin Jagger safety razor is quite the elegant shaving tool. It has a sleek, smooth, chromed-plated finish that looks amazing and feels awesome. It's got a decently long handle on it and is relatively easy to assemble, but comes up a bit short in the weight department. Overall, it's a nice-looking, functional razor. It's certainly not the best there is, but it's still a decent safety razor.
As we mentioned above, the frame of this razor is mostly steel that is plated in chrome. It's a sturdy piece of equipment that has a very elegant finish to it. It looks very classy compared to other razors. The DE89bl is tough, though. All of the pieces including the handle, head, and alignment pins are rugged.
Weight and Length
Although the razor isn't marketed as having a long handle, the DE89bl has some decent length to it. Many safety razors only measure about 8 centimeters in length, but this Edwin Jagger model is roughly 9.5 centimeters long or 3.7". It fits comfortably in medium-sized hands. Individuals with larger hands or long fingers may want to consider a razor with a longer handle.
The EJ DE89bl is a bit light compared to other models, though. It weighs just 62 grams or 2.2oz. Unfortunately, this means you have to put a bit more force behind your passes than you would with a heavier model razor. This can lead to a somewhat uncomfortable shave at times.
Other razors, such as the Merkur Long Handled Razor and the Parker 99R have more weight to them. These heavier models are often the more preferred shavers.
Not too sure about our opinion of the Edwin Jagger DE89bl? Well, don't just take our word for it. There are plenty of other reviews posted by real consumers that you can check out that will tell you even more about this shaver.
On Amazon this razor has a very positive track record of men really liking this safety razor. It's not surprise as Edwin jagger is a leader in the wet shaving industry.
Quite a few people have claimed that this razor is great. They say that they love the elegant look of the razor, how well balanced it is, and how great of a shave they get while using it. A few reviewers also pointed out that they really like that the handle is slightly longer on the DE89bl than on some other models.
The Edwin Jagger DE89bl Chrome Plated Double Edge Safety Razor is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive razor available. It's a bit pricier than other models on our best safety razor list but that's because of the top-tier materials used in its construction and because of the brand name. There are more affordable razors that outperform this one, but the DE89bl is still a decent choice.
Where to Buy It
If you're interested in purchasing the DE89bl you'll be happy to know that you can get it from several different places. There are quite a few retailers that carry it in stock. Some local stores may have it, although this can be rare. It can also be found in specialty shaving shops and online.
If you want to get it for the best price possible, though, we highly recommend picking it up from Amazon.
